about James:

James has been a part of Moss & Main since 2021 and works mostly with individual adults looking to become their most authentic selves. His style is warm, compassionate, and evidence-based. James bristles at being put into boxes, but feels most comfortable being identified as an existential psychotherapist who uses mindfulness-based, narrative, and cognitive tools to help people confront their lives with integrity.

James got his BA from William Jewell College and his MA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He loves coffee, table-top role playing games like D&D, and reading books. He’s a big fan of the Kansas City Current and Dostoevsky.
